PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve mapping efficiency by receiving a 1st signal representing a surface position displayed in an image and a 2nd signal representing the texture of some part on the surface, and interpolating filtered texture representation with a 3rd signal making individual pixels and some area of texture correspond to each other. SOLUTION: A mapping processor 93 receives the signal representing the displayed surface position from a path 91 and receives the signal representing the texture displayed on the surface from a path 92. The mapping processor 93 determines the correspondence between the pixels of the display image and texture area with various normal and reversed images by using those received signals. A pixel processor 95 generates a signal representing following display pixel values by a path. Those values can be stored in, for example, a frame buffer. Those pixel values are received from the mapping processor 93. Generation is performed on the basis of the signal representing those homogeneous coordinates and the signal representing the filtered texture representation received from a filter map 94. |
