PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce housing space and cost of an AC energy converter by providing a plurality of cored coils formed through windings having loss DC resistances at regular intervals on the circumferential surface of a magnetic pedestal, and rotating and heating a rotary plate by means of the same cored coil. SOLUTION: A rotary plate 7 made of a soft magnetic metal is rotated and heated by using an AC energy converter, in which a magnetism generating mechanism section 1 and a container 2 housing a rotationally driven section are provided separately and independently. Therefore, the plate 7 can be rotated by induced heating through the use of a coil 3 for rotational driven and induction heating in such a way that, in rotating the plate 7, the plate 7 is rotationally driven in two phases of 'Sin' 'Cos' by adjusting the impressed frequency to 150-600 Hz in the case of a two-phase inverter circuit. At heating of the plate 7, the electric power is supplied by unifying the phases by switching either one of the phases of 'Sin' and 'Cos' to the other phase, and at the same time, by making the impressed frequency equal to or higher than the rotationally driven frequency. Therefore, the housing area and the cost of the AC energy converter can be reduced. |
