PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the work efficiency for developing and evaluating the hardware or software of a computer system as a result by making easily performable the change of a system specification such as the change of an OS or application program, the selective use of a ROM emulator and the change of a hardware resource. SOLUTION: A CPU board 10 mounting a CPU is prepared for every kind of CPU, an I/O board 11 mounting an I/O device (I/O interface) is prepared while being divided into plural boards 11a and 11b, memory boards 12a and 12b mounting memories, to which the same address is allocated, thus, a reference system respectively selecting boards and making them functioning, is prepared. Concerning such a reference system, the respective memories store mutually different OS or application programs. Besides, on the memory boards 12a and 12b, switch circuits are provided for selecting the memory to be used. |
