PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a two step electrically charging type electric dust collecting element carrying system which has surface coating earth electrodes by a photocatalyst-contg. electrically conductive coating so as to suppress odor generated from accumurated dust on the earth electrodes and to facilitate removal of the sticked dust. SOLUTION: Dust is electrically charged when contaminated air is passed through an ionization part consisting of a plurality of flat plane-like earth electrodes being arranged in parallel each other and high electric voltage (radiation beam) electrodes arranged between these electrodes to contaminated air 16 in a room guided to a two step electrically charging type electric dust collecting element 2 wherein a prefilter 5 and a deodorizing element 6 are respectively arranged at the front step and at the back step of inner part from the outer part of the main body 1 by means of fans 3 and 4 and the dust is attracted on a surface coating earth electrodes by a photocatalyst-contg. electrically conductive coating of this collector part consisting of a plurality of flat plate-like high voltage and earth electrodes arranged alternately in parallel to deodorize and to facilitate removal by oxidative force obtd. by photoirradiation. |
