PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely judge the significance of a waveform by averaging a data waveform, obtaining its standard deviation and displaying it together with data waveform as the kind of the waveform. SOLUTION: A cerebral induced potential analog waveform outputted from an electroencephalograph 4 is converted to a digital signal by an A/D converter 5 to be inputted to a personal computer 6, which obtains the average of the point X of K-number of raw waveforms of the cerebral induced potential to calculate each standard deviation. A display condition corresponding to a boundary condition is set to this standard deviation and when the standard deviation meets this boundary condition, a corresponding average is plot-displayed on a display picture. At the time of not meeting it, the boundary condition is changed to repeat processing. The significance of the waveform is efficiently judged by examining a time axis waveform based on added average obtained like this. |
