PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the size of a digital image to that of a print without deforming a main subject and cutting off a part of the image in the case of reproducing and recording a digital image on printing paper of which aspect ratio is different from that of the digital image in digital photographing service. SOLUTION: In the case of enlarging or reducing either one (e.g. major side direction) of vertical and horizontal directions, a center part 4 including a main subject is enlarged or reduced at the same magnification as that of the other direction (minor side direction) and the other peripheral part 5 is enlarged or reduced while changing its magnification so that the major side of a digital image coincides with the major side of printing paper as a whole. |
