<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially eliminate a shift or a step in an image to be formed by a method wherein variation of an emission distribution between LED elements is suppressed in a head structure wherein multiple LED elements are provided in a line. SOLUTION: Since each of LED elements 3 has an individual electrode 4 drawn from an emission section 6 to an identical side in a sub-scanning direction, each LED element 3 itself has an emission distribution having a deviation in the sub-scanning direction. However, the directions of the deviations of all of the LED elements 3 are the same by virtue of the individual electrodes drawn in the identical sides in the sub-scanning direction (b), so that a shift in the sub-scanning direction is not generated, there by eliminating a shift or a step in the sub-scanning direction in the image 24 to be formed.</p> |
