<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a protective coat having an excellent abrasion resistance and impact resistance by employing an acrylate monomer, a photopolymerization initiator, a viscosity modifier and a solvent. SOLUTION: An acrylate monomer comprising 10-50 wt.% of an acrylate monomer having a double bond in its molecule, a photopolymerization initiator such as 1-hydroxycyclohexyl phenyl ketone, and 1-10 wt.% of a viscosity modifier such as a non-porous spherical silica are blended, followed by adjusting with a solvent the solid content to be 70-85 wt.% and the viscosity to be 10-25 Pa.s, providing a protective coating material. The protective coating material is used as a coating layer having a thickness of about 10μm of a plate for intaglio transfer printing. The acrylate monomer having 2 or more double bonds in its molecule includes a dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate, and an ethylene oxide isocyanurate modified triacrylate. An urethane acrylate-based oligomer may be used in combination with the acrylates.</p> |
