<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cover characteristic dispersion in a TFT and to perform a clear digital gradation display by inputting a reference voltage value from a controller side as a signal, controlling the timing connecting its reference signal to the TFT with a digital value and controlling a voltage applied to the TFT. SOLUTION: Relating to this electrooptical device inputting the reference voltage value from the controller side as the signal, controlling the timing connecting its reference signal to the TFT with the digital value and controlling the voltage applied to the TFT, sine waves 309, 310 as a reference signal waveform are added to VDD1 303, VDD2 304 in the scanning line direction, and a bipolar signal is added to VGG1 301, VGG2 302 in the information line direction. The part controlled by the digital value controls the timing applying this bipolar signal. That is, by changing the timing selecting a voltage changing signal, a charge amount and potential stored on an A point are decided, and a size of an electric field applied to a pixel and a liquid crystal is decided.</p> |
