PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten driving efficiency by evaluating the cumulative stroke taken by an acceleration pedal to recognize the degree of a driver's nervousness to be effectively utilized for the control for driving in the case where in a designated time window, the speed change is smaller than a specified threshold and/or the change of the position of the acceleration pedal is smaller than a specified threshold. SOLUTION: During driving of a vehicle, first, in a block 101 (-hereinafter referred to as B101) to which every kind of sensor signal is input, it is judged whether the driving style is gentle or sporty, and in the block B102, it is judged whether or not the acceleration character figure is smaller than a designated threshold. In the case where the figure is smaller than the threshold, in the block b106, criterion for recognizing the nervousness is formed. On the other hand, in the block B105 to which an acceleration pedal position signal pw and a signal dpw expressing temporal derivative of the signal pw are input, the activity degree akz is obtained. In the block B117, it is determined whether the criteria exceeds a specified threshold or not, and if yes, in the block B108, the nervousness bit nb is set to 1.
