IMAGE ITERATED CONVERSION DECODING DEVICE, ITS METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an iterated conversion decoder capable of executing aspect ratio conversion also simultaneously with decoding. SOLUTION: First and second polygonal information generation parts 1, 2 decode an encoded bit stream 100, input aspect ratio information 112 and respectively generate two different polygons. An image conversion/generation part 4 maps and converts the pixel values of an image in the 2nd polygon and the position of the polygon. The converted polygonal image is stored in an image memory part 5. A control part 6 controls the mapping/conversion/ generation of the polygon by iterated processing.
