PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent clothes from being stained when a writing implement is put in a pocket with a writing tip part left projected, by a constitution wherein a clip rotating properly releases an engaged state of knocking. SOLUTION: A rather short window part wherein a clip 9 is fitted and longitudinal slots 2 over to the vicinity of the rear end part at a plurality of places are made in the rear lateral sides of a rear holder 1. A cam part 9c shaped like a projection is formed in the front end of a leg part 9a being the base part of the clip 9 and, in the state of the cam part coming into opposite contact with a cam face 6a, the clip 9 is supported axially at the window part of the rear holder 1 so that it can rotate properly. A knock operation member 26 is made to engage, by knocking, with an end part 20 of the fore end of the holder part of the rear holder 1 and makes a writing tip part of a ball-point pen writing body 33 project from the force end opening of a front holder. When the fore end part of the clip 9 is moved in the direction of separating from the lateral side of the rear holder in this state, the cam part 9c of the leg part 9a presses the cam face 6a of an engagement pin 6 and makes it advance. Then a slant step part 7 comes into contact with a projection 28 of the knock operation part 26 and releases the state of engagement with the end part 20 and thereby the writing tip part is withdrawn into the front holder 25 from the fore end opening of the holder. |
