PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control not to generate deviation between the leading ends of front and rear side images with respect to the leading end of a transfer material, in an image forming device for transferring a toner image formed on an image forming body, onto an intermediate transfer body to form the rear side image and then, making the toner image formed on the image forming body the front side image, so as to form the front/rear side images on the both surfaces of the transfer material. SOLUTION: Positional information is detected by reference positions (141a and 141b) provided on the intermediate transfer body 14a and detecting means (51 and 52) for detecting the reference positions (a small hole 141a and a small mirror 141b) and image writing timing and the timing of feeding a paper by a timing roller 15c are controlled on the basis of the positional information. |
