PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a liquid crystal display of multi-gradations and multi-colors by analog data input to be performed, by providing an analog/digital conversion circuit, in which a liquid crystal display device and the outside are connected by an analog interface and which converts analog data having plural signal levels into digital data, and a voltage generation circuit generating voltage of plural level in accordance with gradation. SOLUTION: An analog/digital converter 6 converts analog display data 2 being an input signal into digital display data 7 of 2 bits in accordance with the voltage value. A multi-voltage level output generation circuit 8 generates voltage of plural levels in accordance with gradation, for example, generates voltage of 4 levels when it is four gradation display. A signal of a voltage level corresponding to gradation 0 is outputted to a signal line 9, and signals of a voltage level corresponding to gradation 1, 2, 3 are outputted to signal lines 10, 11, 12. A X driving means 15 takes in successively digital display data 7 of 2 bits of one line by a latch clock 3, selects one of this four gradation voltage, and outputs it as panel data X1-X640. |
