PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner equipped with an inverter by which an influence of variation of input voltage can be eliminated when the speed of induction motor is controlled at variable frequency through an inverter and a compressor be driven in high efficiency at all times so as to obtain efficient air conditioning condition. SOLUTION: An inverter frequency determination part 9 determines a frequency according to the required hertz which is sent from an indoor machine 31 after the input voltage of an inverter circuit 8 is detected, and a modulation factor determination part 10 adjusts a modulation factor on the basis of the input voltage in a manner to obtain an output voltage enough to drive a compressor motor 5 as an induction motor at the maximum efficiency corresponding to the output frequency in accordance with the determined frequency. |
