PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slave station setting system, in which slave station setting information required for extension of a slave station is automatically set and the extension is conducted without stopping the operation of a monitor control system. SOLUTION: An extended slave station 10 acquires required setting information from a slave station setting information management database 4 which is managed by a master station 1 through down-loading. The setting information acquired is stored in its own station setting information storage area 7 of a nonvolatile memory section 6. The slave station 10 is automatically started by the stored setting information. In this case, since the master station 1 requires no special setting revision, the master station 1 is not started again at the extension of the slave station 10, and the slave station 10 is extended without having to stop the operation of the monitor control system. |
