Cam follower for valve gear of internal combustion engine

The cam follower is formed as pivot, tip or drag lever (1) which is located via a roller bearing (17) on a rotatable ring (18), which by its rotation causes the lever to pivot around its rotary center (11). The roller bearing is activated by hydraulic medium which acts as lubricant. As inner running track of the roller bearing, the cover surface of a circular ring-shaped hollow bolt (15) is used. The hollow bolt has a radial lubricating hole (19) for the direct lubrication of the roller bearing from inwards and outwards. The lever is formed for simultaneous activation of equal-acting gas exchange valves. The hollow bolt is arranged in a cross hole (10) axis-parallel to the rotary center between two clearance compensating components (4) acting on the valves.
