The invention concerns a method for making chemical paper pulp comprising a batch cooking process including the following steps: (1) treating wood chips using an alkaline solution in a batch reactor (a) so as to transform at least part of the chips into paper pulp; (2) during the treatment (1) in the batch reactor (a), at least once replacing the alkaline solution with another solution; (3) transferring the medium derived from the treatment (1) into a flash tank (b); (4) one or several washing treatments (c) of the medium derived from the flash tank, and inputting at least a chelating agent during step (2), (3) and/or (4). |
