FIELD: rubber-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises heat treating polymer comprising bonded maleic anhydride units with p-aminodiphenyl amine in organic solvent. Polymer is low weight (co)polymer based on diene monomers with average molecular weight from 600 to 2000, said (co)polymer containing grafted moleic anhydride units in amount from 10 to 30 wt %, at weight ratio of grafted maleic anhydride units to p-aminodiphenyl amine of 1:0.9- 1.9, respectively, at temperature from 20 to 90 C. Spatially hindered phenol is added to original reaction mixture. Method makes it possible to prepare polymeric antioxidant which protects natural rubbers and rubbers from thermooxidative and light aging.
