FIELD: rolling mill equipment. SUBSTANCE: bearing assembly of rolling mill includes antifriction and constructional monolithic layers whose thickness values may be in relation from 1:1 until 1:14. Antifriction layer is laminated one or it is randomly reinforced and made of composite material including (mass %): felt of polyoxadiazole, polyphenyleneterephtalate or polyimidobenzimidazole fiber 18-57; cotton fabric 8-38; heat setting binder 20-55; graphite 2-15; alumina 0.3-10. Constructional layer is monolithic one, it is made of laminated or randomly reinforced glass plastic or textolite. EFFECT: increased service life period of bearing assembly, enhanced resistance against exfoliation at keeping desired wear resistance, uniform wear and impact-load stability. 2 tbl
