Air intake has a channel (22) for air to pass through, open at both ends, and covered with a sleeve of foam thermal and sound insulating material, equipped with a regulator (28) located at least partly inside the sleeve. The sleeve has two shaped sections (16,18) on opposite sides of the air channel and two adjoining plates. The top of the intake comprises a housing (8), preferably of a synthetic material, while its underside is in direct contact with the window.
