<p>A tiling system for an outdoor terrace, made from tiles (5) with their corners set on adjustable supports (3) to give it a level surface, has each tile made of double thickness, using two ceramic tiles (6, 7) stuck together back-to-back. The adhesive used to stick the tiles together is a high-modular material, made esp from a mixture of sand, cement, mineral fibres and resin. The tiles can be made from pressed or ceramic clay with varnished or enamelled faces. The adhesive can incorporate a reinforcing layer (20), especially a woven synthetic or natural material which can be a conducting metal.</p> |
