The mechanism consists of a housing with a series of supports (42) of an elastic material and elongated slots (58) for positioning the components to provide for correct functioning of the mechanism. The supports have pegs equipped with peripheral grooves, and the elongated slots have ends of greater diameter. The different components of the mechanism are connected in subassemblies mounted on plates (16) with their own fixings, one of the plates having a lever (10) which pivots about an axis (14) to operate a demagnetization suction valve (18).
