The base (17) is provided with two longitudinal slides on either side of the unit (6), which is fixed, to this base. A first mobile unit (5) and a second mobile unit move independently on these slides. Three strapping blocks (1,2,3) which can rotate are fitted one on each of the units that can separately clamp onto the bar stock to orientate it about a longitudinal axis. A rotating spindle (8) of a milling machine is placed between the second and third units and an optional saw is provided to part off the machined pieces.
