THIAZOLOPYRIMIDINE DERIVATIVES, PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING THEM, AND THEIR USE

Thiazolopyrimidine derivatives of the general formula (I), wherein R1 is a lower alkyl or cycloalkyl, R2 is hydrogen, lower alkyl or a group containing nitrogen, oxygen or sulphur, -X---Y denotes a double bond residual, -N-C-, optionally -N=C'-, carrying substituents and R3 is -NO2 -NH2 or some of the other radicals the part whereof is phenyl or heterocyclic residual containing nitrogen or sulphur, their tautomers and additional salts, in particular pharmaceutically acceptable additional salts, which are useful as angiotensin II- receptor antagonists and are usable as materia medica for treating cardiovascular diseases, in particular for the treatment of hypertension, cardiac insufficiency and diseases of the arterial wall. There is further disclosed a pharmaceutical composition containing said substances and use thereof for the preparation of materia medica for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
