Contact arrangement for electrical component

The arrangement has contact elements (6) comprising two parts for connecting one wire (1 to 4) respectively. Each part has a U-shaped opening on a side opposite a row of insulation piercing terminals to contact the wires (8,9) of the electrical component (7). Also claimed are a method of manufacturing the arrangement, and the use of the arrangement for contacting two wires via a PTC resistor.
