Grass surface marking

To give visible markings in grass surfaces, a trench is cut in the ground with the growing grass (2). A holding strip (8) is placed in the trench, to be covered with loose material (10). Filaments (12) are inserted through the loose material (10), to be held by the bottom strip (8), e.g. by a staple gun. The filaments have a color in contrast with the surrounding grass.
