<p>An adhesive composition comprised of (A) a latex of 100 wt. parts of a carboxyl group-containing highly saturated nitrile-conjugated diene copolymer rubber, (B) 5 - 30 wt. parts of a resorcinol-formaldehyde resin, and (C) 2 - 10 wt. parts of an aromatic epoxy resin. A composite comprised of a nitrile group-containing highly saturated copolymer rubber and a fibrous material, which has been treated with the adhesive composition. This composite is useful for belts.</p>
