The invention concerns an improved automatic mechanical valve for buoyancy control devices (BCD) comprising a main body (4), connected to a first not compensated stage (2) of a dispenser so that low pressure air is received, about 10/11 bar, said main body (4) providing first (7), second (8) and a third (9) chamber, each one of said chambers (7, 8, 9) providing a piston (11), movable within a cylinder (10), said pistons (11) being subjected to water pressure by relevant lever means (12) and membrane means (13), preferably comprised of silicone, the piston (11) of said first (7) and second (8) chamber communicating said first dispensing stage with the BCD, and the piston (11) of said thrid chamber (9) communicating with said first (7) and second (8) chamber, communication holes being provided between the third (9) and respectively the first (7) and the second (8) chamber, in such a way that said relevant pistons (11) are brought in the closure position before the piston of the third chamber (9).
