Casting compound processing procedure for filling track cracks and joints in track and railway construction

The procedure comprises a casting lance fed with molten casting material from a barrel of a filling apparatus via a hose from a casting pump. By means of a valve on the lance, the necessary amount of material needed by the work step is removed. The hose (3) supplying the casting material to the lance is heated. The activation of the delivery drive of the pump is coupled to the operation of the removal valve. The hose is electrically heated. The pressure of the delivery system is limited to a value lying only a little higher than the maximum working pressure during the casting.
