The formed block (1) consists of mineral soils (2), and has an upper and a lower net of non-rotting material, and a layer of a set thickness containing seed. The upper net (7) is at a distance of approximately 10 mm to the block surface (6), and the lower net (4) is at a distance to the block support surface (5) corresponding to 1/3 of the height of the block. Each block has apertures forming a channel system when installed. The mineral soil layer consists of a mixture of mineral substrates, preferably tosodren and a binding agent, preferably gypsum.
