<p>Inelastic carrier material for medical applications contains high-strength fibres, (mixed) thread or filaments with an ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of NOTLESS 60, preferably 80-500 cN/tex and a water absorption capacity of < 10, preferably < 5, especially < 3%, which give the carrier a UTS of NOTLESS 50, preferably 60-450, especially 65-250 N/cm. The carrier is (partly) coated with adhesive on one or both sides. Also claimed are the uses of the material.</p> |
