<p>The invention concerns a container for growing a plant, comprising a broad base (2) and an open-work side wall. The invention also concerns a method for growing plants, which consists in: holding the plant with a clip stem downwards and roots upwards; inserting in the plant root system a container (1) with a broad base and an open-work side wall, the container being set on the plant root system such that the container opening with the smallest cross-section points downwards and the opening with the largest cross-section points upwards; filling the container with soil, the soil being prevented from dropping out of the container by the clip used for maintaining the stem down; mounting directly a base on the container top end; turning the plant and the container the right way up; setting down the plant and the container, the broad base of the latter pointing towards the ground.</p> |
