The invention relates to a soap mold (1) for pressing or stamping soap pieces in which at least one shell-shaped indentation (2) is provided in the soap mold. A prefabricated, one-piece, plastic insert (4) which can be detached from the soap mold is placed inside the indentation (2) of said soap mold (1). The insert (4) essentially imitates the shape of the indentation (2) of the soap mold.
