<p>A tubular casing made of a flexible sheet is removed from a food, stuffed in said casing sealed at an opening portion thereof with a sealing means, by stripping one end of said casing from a food body, holding said casing stripped in the preceding step by pulling means and pulling said stripped casing outwardly by said pulling means, whilst said food body and pulling means are allowed to move relative to each other in lengthwise and circumferential directions of said food body, whereby said casing is pulled spirally from said food. The food may be a ham or a sausage.</p> |
