<p>The device has a body (1) containing a duct (2) that can be connected to a fuel supply with a valve seat connected to the duct. The seat has inlet (6) and discharge (11a) ports with spring (21,22) loaded plug elements (15,18). A cam (32) operated by a fuel tank level sensor (31) keeps the other plug open allowing fuel into the tank. At a preset tank filling level, both plug elements are actuated to close off the discharge port. One plug element acts to close off the inlet port when the duct is not connected to a fuel supply.</p> |
