New substituted 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazines have the formula (I), in which R<1> stands, for example, for H, alkyl or alkylcarbonyl; R<2> stands, for example, for H, alkenyl or alkinyl; R<3> stands for -A-Z, in which A stands for optionally substituted straight or branched chain alkanediyl, which optionally contains a heteroatom (or heterogroup) of the series oxygen, sulphur, imino (NH) or alkylimino (N-alkyl) at the beginning or end or in the middle of the alkanediyl chain; and Z stands for an optionally substituted monocyclic or bicyclic, carbocyclic or heterocylic group. Also disclosed are processes and new intermediate products for preparing these compounds and their use as herbicides. |
