Milling prods. treatment appts. comprises a housing contg. a rotor having radially-open pockets aligning successively with an inlet and an outlet, between which is a steam-tight discharge outlet through which prod. in a pocket is thrown centrifugally before steam in the pocket escapes from the other outlet i.e, recovered for its energy content. Opt. grinding surfaces on the rotor coact with grinding surfaces provided in the housing, and pref. radially adjustable upon movable blocks. |
