The invention concerns a mandrel (1) suitable for coreless web winding machines. The mandrel lodges two expanders (2, 3) pneumatically acted by means of cylinders (4, 5). One of the expander is suitable for gripping and clamping the leading edge of the band to be wound for obtaining coreless rolls. The invention includes, in combination, a device for the transport of the leading edge of the band to the clamp of the mandrel. |
