This is a mechanico/electronic system by means of which we are able to ascertain the pressure which exists in the wheels of a vehicle from the driver's seat and to this end there are displays together with the remaining "warning lights" and indicators. The system functions with a pressure sensor which is located inside the wheel. Moreover, we have an assembly (transmitter) which is mounted on the axle of the wheel or transmission, the purpose of which is to transmit electrical information (volts) from the sensor to the digitizer, this latter apparatus indicating the tyre pressure as a function of the electrical voltage it receives. To connect the pressure sensor to the transmitter assembly there is a cable with connection pins. In the handbrake there is a switch which, when activated, allows electricity to flow to the system from the battery. <IMAGE>
