Cyclic image viewer for recreational machines. Intended specifically for recreational machines of the type which give prizes in cash in return for combinations of images eligible for prizes, it features a drive drum 5 for the said continuous strip 3 in which a wide housing 7 is formed for the motor 8 for actuating the strip, a DC motor assisted by NC, a deep groove or perimeter channel 11 also being formed in the said drum and beside the said housing 7, the groove allowing free passage for a position detector 12 constructed as a small strip, preferably of plastic, appropriately secured to the inner face of the continuous strip 3 and intended to interrupt the light beam of a photoemitter and a photoreceiver constituting a position sensor for zero-referencing of the continuous strip, that is to say for establishing a reference adjustment of the cyclic viewer, to which end the said sensor is adjustably positioned on the chassis. <IMAGE>
