PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sentence preparation supporting device which highlights the subject, verb and object of a sentence by utilizing subject, verb, object data and data that is related to a word in an example and highlights words and phrases which are related to a keyword when the example that includes the keyword is shown in the form of a KWIC list when a user inputs the keyword. SOLUTION: This supporting device is provided with an inputting means 1 which inputs a keyword and also designates the kind of words and phrases which should be highlighted, a KWIC list preparation means 3 which produces an example that should be referred to for sentence preparation and a KWIC list, a highlight display word and phrase specifying means 4 which specifies words and phrases to be highlighted, based on the kind of the words and phrases to be highlighted which are designated by the means 1, when the KWIC list prepared by the means 3 is displayed and a displaying means 7 which shows the KWIC list in the form of highlighting the words and phrases to be highlighted which are designated by the means 4. |
