PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated optical element with which the reduction of its thickness is possible, production is easy and adequate photodetecting signals are obtainable and an optical head using the same as well as a recording and/or reproduction device. SOLUTION: The light beam emitted from a laser diode 18 linearly transmits a prism 19 provided with first and second translucent films 20, 21. The signal recording surface of an optical disk is irradiated with this light beam and the return light from this optical disk is introduced to first and second photodetectors 15, 16 by the prism 19 provided with the first and second translucent films 20, 21. |
