PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the manufacturing processes for a liquid crystal display device by simultaneously executing a substrate sticking process and a liquid crystal injection process. SOLUTION: Spacers 17 for forming gaps on the sticking surface of a glass substrate 9 are previously arranged and a frame-like sealing agent 24 is transferred to the sticking surface of either one of the glass substrate 9 and a film substrate 19. The substrate 9 is entered into a narrow gap between press rollers 1, 3 and the substrate 19 is also entered into the narrow gap at an angle inclined from the substrate 9 to carry both the substrates 9, 19 in a pressed state. Simultaneously liquid crystal 22 is discharged to a gap between both the substrates 9, 19 which are gradually narrowed to the direction of the narrow gap. The liquid crystal 22 discharged between both the substrates 9, 19 is injected so as to fill the gap between the substrates 9, 19 while drawing it in a reverse direction against the carrying direction of the substrates 9, 19. |
