PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make outputtable all images in a short time, in a state where the sheets are put in a specific page order, at the time of processing the images of originals, in which color and black-and-white originals coexist by classifying/ managing bits of inputted image information, based on their features and processing the bits of image information classified as the same kind, all together. SOLUTION: When the first original is a color original for instance, a color mode is set to execute a color image forming operation (S3 and S4). The next original is read (S5) and when the next original is the same as the first original (color original), the color image forming operation is continuously executed (S7). When the next original is different, that is, the black-and-white original, classification information on the page number, feature (black-and-white original), etc., of the read original is recorded on a management table (S8). Then, the operation is repeated and when it is judged that a final original is obtained, the color mode is switched to the black-and-white mode (S10), the classification information recorded on the management table is read and only the original corresponding to the classification information is read (S11), to execute an image forming operation (S12). |
