PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for a user to operate an image forming device having a function of alarming by an alarming device without being deluded by an abnormality notification having nothing to do with the user. SOLUTION: An execution state detecting means 1 detects the execution state of each function based on the signals from various sensors. When this execution state to be notified is detected, an notification execution control means 2 controls an alarming device 3 and executes notification of the execution state. Alarming methods are lighting-up of a light 3a and sound output from a loudspeaker 3b of the alarming device 3. On the other hand, an operation detecting means 4 detects that an operation part 5 is operated by a user. The operation detecting means 4, judges a time, for example, from when one of the buttons on the operation part 5 is pushed until when a timer 6 counts for a fixed time, as under operation. When the operation part 5 is newly operated in the middle of the counting, the timer 6 resets the count value and restarts counting. When being operated by the user, the notification by the alarming device 3 is stopped by a notification stopping means 7. |
