PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for an IC card, having a simple constitution, capable of being fixed on a substrate with screws, and capable of being grounded when the IC card is inserted therein. SOLUTION: A connector for an IC card is composed of a housing 10 for storing an IC card 90 so as to optionally insert/eject the card, and a connector member 20 which is arranged in the housing 10 and is connected to the IC card inserted into the housing 10, and it is used in a state where it has been mounted on a substrate K with screws B for installation. In the housing 10, right and left guide parts 12 and 13 which respectively guide the right and left end parts of the IC card 90 when the IC card 90 is inserted or ejected. Moreover, ground metal fittings 30 formed with a conductive material are installed in the right and left guide part 12 and 13 respectively. These ground metal fittings 30 are brought into contact with right and left side surfaces 92 and 93 of the IC card 90 when it is inserted, and on the respective ground metal fittings 30, a female screw 31d which can be screwed with the screw B for installation is formed. |
