摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record or reproduce a large capacity of information to and from an optical recording medium by perpendicular resonator surface light emitting semiconductor lasers, etc., of an optical disk device. SOLUTION: This optical disk device is provided with a perpendicular resonator surface light emitting semiconductor laser array 1 constituted by arranging perpendicular resonator surface light emitting semiconductor laser elements 14 to a grid form, a solid immersion lens 9 for receiving the laser beam emitted by this perpendicular resonator surface light emitting semiconductor laser array 1 and a regenerative signal detecting means 10 for detecting the light reflected from the optical recording medium 12 as a regenerative signal. The perpendicular resonator surface light emitting semiconductor laser array 1 inclines at a slight angle with the tangent direction of the rotation of the optical recording medium 12.
