PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit adjustment of power factor, even when a power generating device is used as synchronizing machine. SOLUTION: This device comprises a first object 40 provided with first windings (42a), 42b, 43a, (43b), 44a, 44b and a second winding 46, a second object 41 which is rotationally driven relative to the first object 40 and is provided with a third winding 49, fourth windings 52, 53 and a rectifying circuit 55, a first power supply for supplying power to the first windings (42a), 42b, 43a, (43b), 44a, 44b and a second power supply for supplying high-frequency current to the second windings 46. The third winding 49 is coupled magnetically with the second winding 46. The input of the rectifying circuit 55 is connected with the third winding 49, and the output of the rectifying circuit 55 is connected with the fourth windings 52, 53. Thus a highly functional power generating device, in which the magnetic flux generated in the fourth windings 52, 53 is variable and the power factor is adjustable and which can be used as synchronous machine, is obtained. |
