<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and safety while traffic by pedestarians and running vehicles is not obstructed. SOLUTION: A connection housing 11 with which an overhead cable 2 suspended on a pole 1 is branched into a plurality of branch cables, an arm 12 which has a predetermined length and to which the connection housing 11 is fixed and a rotary driving means 13 which is fixed to the predetermined position of the pole 1 and turns the arm 12 to which the connection housing 11 is fixed so as to transfer the arm 12 from the lower part to the higher part of the pole 1 are provided. Further, a retaining mechanism 20 by which the arm 12 is so fixed as not to turn and move when the connection housing 11 is positioned at the higher part of the pole 1 is provided. With this constitution, when a work such as cable connection, etc., is practiced on the ground, the connection housing can be positioned at the lower part of the pole and, when the work is not practiced, the connection housing can be positioned at the higher part of the pole.</p> |
